Google has pulled 21 apps from the Android Market that have been found to secretly
Many of the apps have benign names like "Chess" and "Photo Editor" but were developed to gain root access to your Android device and steal data from your phone such as your service provider and user ID.
It also leaves your phone vulnerable to more malicious hacking. We have the complete list below, via Mashable. If you have any of these apps on your phone, it’s best to do a full restore.
